Future ESF is a website that it is about European Social Fund (ESF) in UK for south east region which is England. Future ESF providers and subcontractors are invited to nominate themselves for the new ESF equal opportunities along with sustainable development mainstreaming. ESF provide awards for recognised projects which can special commitment mainstream and contributions towards equal opportunities or sustainable development. The whole idea of having ESF in place is to promote the business project that can bring benefits to the area in term of employment and social services which can have a positive impact within the area.

The awards are given to that project that are or will be using an effective equality or sustainable development policy and an implementation plan or providing specialist support where they target a specific equality group or has a particular environmental focus when promoting jobs or skills. The awards apply to the 2007-2013 England ESF programme. Awards will be given to both regional and national level where national award winners will be selected from regional winners. According to Future ESF also provide funds for other area such as training for public sectors to ensure that they are productive and cared for. However ESF is not usually available for training those who already have permanent jobs in the public sector. Firstly, it is aimed to spend on training people to give them an opportunity to enter the public sector. Secondly, if the public sector contracts out work to private companies the contracted company will not be considered as part of the public sector which means the training activity will be eligible. Finally most importantly, a support for public sector workers who have either been given or are threatened with redundancy which requires them to carry out vocational training to fit them for a new post.

Importantly, ESF also offer further funds, especially to The Skills Funding Agency, where they work together to fund and promote skills amongst young people and those who are in disadvantage positions. So that they are given all skills and resources to help them to overcome their barriers to enter the work, which is very good for promotion of the economy and knowing that people with lack of skills can now at last make a contribution to the national economy.
